انسان اس دنیا میں اکیلا آتا ہے اور آتے ہی نصیب سے کئی خوبصورت رشتوں سے جڑ جاتا ہے یہ پہلا دور ہوتا ہے جس میں تمام رشتے خونی ہوتے ہیں جیسے بھائی ۔ بہن ۔ پھپھو ۔ خالہ وغیرہ۔۔ انسان کبھی دنیا میں تنہا وقت نہیں گزار سکتا آگے چل کر خونی رشتوں کے علاوہ بہت سے رشتوں اور ناطوں سے جڑ جاتا ہے۔ روحانی اور اخلاقی طور پر بننے والے ان رشتوں میں سب سے زیادہ اہم رشتہ استاد کا ہوتا ہے۔ ایک معلم کا احترام کیا ہے اسے ہم سب بخوبی جانتے ہیں۔ استاد کہ جسے اسلام نے معاشرے میں وہی رتبہ دیا ہے جو والدین کا مرتبہ ہوتا ہے اور اساتذہ ہی ہیں کہ جنہیں تمام طلباء کا روحانی باپ بھی کہا جا سکتا ہے کیونکہ والدین کے بعد بچوں کی تربیت کی تمام تر ذمہ داری اساتذہ پر ہی عائد ہوتی ہے اس میں کوئی دو رائے نہیں کہ استاد واجب الاحترام ہوتا ہے۔

ہمارے ابو جی بتایا کرتے ہیں کہ ایک زمانہ تھا جب طالب علم حصول علم کی تلاش میں میلوں کا سفر پیدل طے کرتے تھے سالہاسال ملکوں میں گھومتے گھر بار سے دور رہ کر اپنے علم کی پیاس کو پوراکرتے تھے۔ استاد کی سزاﺅں کو جھیلتے تب جاکر نگینہ بنتے مگر اُس دور میں طالب علم باادب اور باتہذیب ہوتے تھے۔ استاد کے قدموں میں بیٹھنا ان کی باتوں کو خاموشی سے سننا ،مذاق اڑانا تو دور کی بات نظر اٹھا کر بات کرنے سے بھی ڈرتے تھے، اور ایک دور ہمارا تھا کہ اسکول میں اس ڈر کے ساتھ داخل کیا گیا کہ پڑھو نہ پڑھو لیکن استاد کی عزت کو ہمیشہ مقدم رکھنا ، وقت گزرنے کے ساتھ ساتھ یہ ڈر ہمارا یقین بن گیا۔ پھر چاہے علم سکھانے والے اساتذہ ہوں یا فنی تربیت کرنے والے ہوں الحمداللہ دونوں کو ہی نعمت سمجھتے رہے۔ مجھے یاد ہے ہماری کلاس میں بتیس طلباء تھے

اور ایک دن کام نہ کرنے کی وجہ سے ہم سترہ لڑکوں کے حصے میں استاد محترم کی بیس بیس اور گرم گرم چھڑیاں آئی تھیں لیکن کسی کی مجال نہ تھی کہ وہاں اپنی زبان کھولتا زبان کھولنا تو دور کی بات کسی نے ہاتھ کو پیچھے تک نہیں کیا تھا۔۔ وقت نے اپنی اڑان بھرنا شروع کی تو انسان بھی ترقی کی بیشتر منزلیں طے کرتا چلا گیا اور پھر یوں ہوا کہ وقت بدلنے کے ساتھ ساتھ تہذیب اور آداب کے انداز بھی بدلنے لگے۔چنانچہ یہ حقیقت سامنے آئی کہ آج کے دور کا طالب علم استاد کو تنخواہ دار ملازم سمجھنے کے علاوہ کوئی اہمیت نہیں دیتا۔ یہی وجہ ہے کہ آج ہزار ہا اسکولز ، کالجز اور یونیورسٹیوں کے باوجود علم ناپید ہوتا جا رہا ہے۔ تعلیمی اداروں کی بھرمار ہونے کے باوجود اخلاقیات اور تہذیب کا نام و نشان نظر نہیں آ رہا۔ جہاں اسلام نے مسلمانوں پر علم کو فرض کیا وہیں پر اسلام کی نظر اساتذہ کے احترام کو لازم قرار دیا تا کہ علم کی عظمت اور اسکا وقار بڑھ سکے۔ یہ ہو نہیں سکتا کہ سکھانے والی کی عزت کئے بغیر انسان فیض یاب ہو جائے ایسا نہ کبھی سنا ہے اور نہ ہی سننے میں آ سکتا ہے۔

اس کا مطلب ہرگز یہ نہیں کہ ایک استاد تعلیم کی آڑ میں بچوں پر ظلم کرتا رہے، چاہے اسکول ہو یا مدرسہ کسی بھی معلم کو ایک حد سے تجاوز کرنے کی اجازت اسلام بھی نہیں دیتا ہاں مگر اتنا حق ضرور حاصل ہے کہ طلباء کی غلطی پر مناسب تنبیہہ یا ہلکی پٹائی ضرور کرے لیکن شاگرد کا یہ حق کسی نے نہیں دیا کہ ایک استاد کی پٹائی کے بدلے اسے اپنے آوارہ دوستوں کے ساتھ مل کر لاتوں اور مکوں سے مارے۔ رات کو ٹی وی پر ایک خبر چلی کی ملتان کے ایک نجی کالج میں کسی فنکشنل ایکٹیویٹی کے روکنے پر استاد نے ایک طالبعلم کو تھپڑ مار دیا تھا بدلے میں طلباء نے اپنے دوستوں کے ساتھ ملکر استاد کو لاتوں اور مکوں کا نشانہ بنایا میرا سوال ہے طلباء کے حقوق کے لئے آواز بلند کرنے والی تنظیموں سے۔۔ ؟؟ وہ کس کے لئے آواز اٹھا رہی ہیں؟؟ کیا اس طرح سے وہ معاشرے کو وہ نوجوان دے سکتے ہیں جو آگے چل کر اپنا نام پیدا کر سکیں اور اپنے ملک کا نام روشن کر سکیں؟؟ ایک جگہ لکھا تھا کہ اگر بچوں کو جسمانی سزا دیکر تعلیم یافتہ بنایا جاسکتا تو طالبان نے آئنسٹائین اور بِل گیٹس پیدا کیے ہوتے ارے بل گیٹس نے کب اپنے استاد پر ہاتھ اٹھایا؟؟ ایک نالائق اور کمزور طالب علم جو اپنے معلم کو ہر صورت میں احترام کرتا ہے وہ بھلے ہی آگے چل کر بڑا نام نا کما سکے لیکن اس طرح سے اپنے ہی سکھانے والے پر بہیمانہ تشدد کرنے والا کبھی زندگی میں کامیاب نہیں ہو سکتا۔

اشفاق احمد  لکھتے ہیں کہ

روم (اٹلی) میں میرا چالان ہوا  ۔مصروفیت کے باعث فیس ٹائم پر ادا نہ کر سکا۔کورٹ جانا پڑا۔جج کے سامنے پیش ہوا تواس نے وجہ پوچھی۔میں نےکہا پروفیسر ہوںمصروفیت کے باعث ٹائم ہی نہیں ملا۔اس سے پہلے میں کوئی بات کرتا، جج نے کہا،

اور سب لوگ کھڑے ہو گئے۔ اور مجھ سے معافی مانگ کر  چالان کینسل کر دیا۔ اس روز میں اس قوم کی ترقی کا راز جان گیا۔

English Translation

Man comes to this world alone and as soon as he arrives, he is connected with many beautiful relationships. This is the first period in which all relationships are bloody, such as brother, sister, aunt, etc. Man can never spend time alone in the world. The most important of these spiritual and moral relationships is that of the teacher. We all know what respect a teacher has. The teacher whom Islam has given the same status in the society as the parents and the teachers are the ones who can be called the spiritual father of all the students because after the parents the entire responsibility of educating the children would be on the teachers. Yes, there are no two opinions that the teacher is obligatory.

 

Our father tells us that there was a time when students used to travel miles on foot in search of knowledge. After facing the punishment of the teacher, they would go and become jewels, but in those days, the students were polite and courteous. Sitting in the footsteps of the teacher, listening to them quietly, making fun of them, they were afraid to look away and talk, and there was a time when we were admitted to the school with the fear of not reading but the teacher with the passage of time, this fear became our belief. Praise be to Allah. He continued to consider both of them as blessings, whether they were teachers or artisans. I remember there were 32 students in our class.

Another day, because of not working, we came to the section of seventeen boys with twenty-two and hot sticks of the respected teacher, but no one had the opportunity to open his mouth there. What was as time began to take its toll, man also went through most of the stages of development and then it so happened that with the passage of time, the style of civilization and manners also began to change. Does not value anything other than a paid employee. That is why today, in spite of thousands of schools, colleges and universities, knowledge is disappearing. Despite the abundance of educational institutions, there is no sign of ethics and civilization. Where Islam has imposed knowledge on Muslims, in the eyes of Islam, respect for teachers has been made obligatory so that the greatness and dignity of knowledge may increase. It is not possible for a person to be blessed without respecting the teacher. This has never been heard of and cannot be heard.

This does not mean that a teacher continues to oppress children under the guise of education, whether it is a school or a madrassa. Islam does not allow any teacher to exceed a certain limit, but he has the right to make mistakes. He must give a proper warning or light beating, but no one has given the student the right to beat and punch a teacher along with his wandering friends. At night, there was a news on TV that a teacher had slapped a student when he stopped a functional activity in a private college. In return, the students, along with their friends, kicked and punched the teacher. From organizations that raise their voices for rights ...?? Who is she raising her voice for?? In this way, can they give to the society the youth who can go ahead and make a name for themselves and make their country famous?? It was written somewhere that if children could be educated by corporal punishment, then the Taliban would have created Einstein and Bill Gates. When did Bill Gates raise his hand against his teacher? An incompetent and weak student who respects his teacher in every way may not make a name for himself in the future, but in this way, a person who indiscriminately abuses his own teacher can never succeed in life.

 

Ashfaq Ahmed writes that

I had a fine (traffic fine) in Rome (Italy). I couldn't pay on time due to busyness. I had to go to court. I appeared before the judge and he asked the reason. I said I am a professor. Speaking, the judge said,

A teacher is in the court

And all the people stood up. And he apologized to me and canceled the fine. On this day, the secret of the progress of this nation was revealed.
